About Simply Kate Bush
Simply Kate Bush is a unique 5 piece band of professional musicians dedicated to bringing Kate’s songs to life with an authentic sound.
The band offers a variety of set lists across Kate's album discography, recreating a studio sound including the replica 'Fairlight CMI' synth samples used in her 1985 Hounds of Love album.
Their latest show 'Strange Phenomena' features Kate's hits and hauntings featuring the inspiration stemming from her fascination with the paranormal, esoteric and with mysterious inventions. The band embraces that fascination performing the lesser heard Experiment IV and Watching You Without Me (Ninth Wave) and many more familiar hauntings too!
Their latest show also includes a support band at selected venues.
'Beyond The Dawn' is a Kate Bush inspired originals band with a steampunk twist. The music is written by Jane Clarity and songwriting partner and band member Jamie Wood. It makes for a fitting sous san of creativity in the here and now before Simply Kate Bush brings their homage to Kate with songs that have built memories and the emotional tapestries of every Kate Bush fan.
Jane feels her homage to Kate is deepened by her own journey as a creative artist.
'To truly understand Kate's music it helps to be an artist oneself. It's that restless, creative spirit that's always seeking something new in the mundane or exploring what we don't dare talk about - what lies hidden, that strange phenomena.'
Described as Kate's 'lost twin' Jane Clarity fronts the band with theatrical poise, an uncanny vocal resemblance and an array of beautiful costumes created by designer Janey Gardiner. Along with her professional band, they create a fitting homage to this genius artist.
Our calendar is open for bookings into 2026 and 2027 for all venue settings and festivals for our full band, duo, one woman show and talks on the creative life of Kate Bush.
